The latest release of the Generation5 JDK has a lot of new features including:

Added support for Hough transforms + demo applet.
Added support for noise: impulse and Gaussian.
Added support for rank filtering: minimum, maximum and median + updated demo applet.
Improved histogram class.
Improved Sobel edge detector to work on multiple bands.
ONR now as demonstration applet.
Added support for board games and simple AI agents + demo applet.
Added support for influence maps.
Increased Filter class efficiency.
Greatly improved KohonenNN class, along with improved demonstration applet.
Many improvements to demonstration applets.
Numerous bug fixes + other tweaks.

The latest release of the Generation5 JDK has a lot of new features including:

Time series classes to automatically (or manually) snapshot Visualizable-implementing classes or BufferedImages.
Feedforward networks, neural network trainers and a dedicated org.generation5.nn package.
Improved histogram and plotting classes.
Expanded machine vision with convolution, histogram equalization, and bug fixes.
WireWorld cellular automata applet, machine vision demonstration applet.
Numerous bug fixes.
